Admissions

Clearwell admits children into the school in the September of the school year in which they are five. (The school year runs from 1st September to 31st August).

On registering a child for admission, details of name, age, date of birth, address, etc. are taken and the child is invited to attend three or four afternoons towards the end of the summer term before he/she begins as a full member of the school in September.

As we have taken the time to get to know our Reception pupils we have made the decision to start all pupils full time from the start of term.  We will look at each pupil on an individual basis and adjust timetables to suit them as people.  The Reception children will also be joining us on our trip to The British Museum, accompanied by a parent.

Parents are normally advised to register their children by the Country deadline in the January of the year of entry but all later enquiries will be welcomed.
