Head’s Blog – 26th March 2021

We have had an eventful week in school and the children have been superb as ever. With only a couple of days to go before Lockdown restrictions start to ease, the light at the end of the tunnel seems to be getting brighter.

Mrs Griffiths organised a fantastic reading competition which was extremely hard to judge. The children need to show us that they could read in unusual places. Unfortunately a few entries disappeared in the ether which meant that they didn’t get judged so I am publishing them on here so that they get their moment of glory. I am sure that you will agree they are fabulous; they will also still get a prize. Thank you Mrs Griffiths for organising this, I appreciate you taking the time to do it and buying the prizes. Thank you to all of the adults and children who entered.

Years three and four have been learning about teeth this week and they made some great teeth from plasticine! Practical learning in science is the way that we like to learn at Clearwell.
