Head’s Blog – 2nd October 2020

What wet and wild weather whenever we have tried to have our adventures this week! The rain didn’t stop us on Welly Walk when we all put on our waterproofs to go on a leaf scavenger hunt. We didn’t stay out very long but we did manage to collect so many different leaves from our fabulous garden. Once inside, Oak class had the opportunity to do some leaf rubbing whilst others played with the water or coloured!

Unfortunately the weather got the better of us today as we had to postpone our visit to the Secret Forest to learn about ancient settlers in the Forest of Dean. The owner, Elaine, has kindly offered us a free tour. We are so lucky and cannot wait until we can visit.

We love it when out children are so inspired by their learning that they do additional learning at home. Here are a couple of photographs to see what they do.
